When a Zoom, Teams, Webex or Slack call goes live — or a Meet tab starts using your mic — a small always-on-top prompt offers to start the copilot. Or it just starts by itself, your pick. (Windows today.)
While you talk
Live captions from four interchangeable engines — OpenAI Realtime, Speechmatics, Groq, or fully on-device — with partials landing in about a second and a half.
Suggested answers. When a question is aimed at you, an answer is already on screen — plus follow-up questions worth asking and a rolling summary that keeps you oriented after you zoned out for ten minutes.
Translation that doesn't patronize. Full live translation when you want it, or smart mode: captions stay in the original language and only rare words get an inline gloss. A local frequency check means most captions never trigger an API call. (English → Portuguese first; more pairs later.)
You hang up
One timestamped folder per meeting: the recording with you on the left channel and everyone else on the right — that split is the speaker separation — a timestamped transcript, and a report: overview, decisions, action items with checkboxes, risks, and paste-ready build prompts for every feature that got discussed.
Saving never depends on the report: if a report call fails, your audio and transcript are already on disk, and you can generate the report later.

The Meetings tab reads your folder back: browse every meeting as a list or a month calendar, click any transcript line to hear that exact moment, keep notes that autosave, and re-transcribe or generate a report whenever.
And every meeting has a chat. It answers from that meeting's transcript, report and notes — with the real cost of each reply printed under it.
The free tier has no Vibe Meet backend at all. Paid tiers talk to one for exactly two things — checking your plan, and routing AI calls when you use our keys instead of yours. Here is the entire data flow:

Rules on recording and consent vary by country and company — that part is on you. What Vibe Meet guarantees is control: everything it produces stays in one local folder, so what exists, and what gets deleted, is always your call. Recording is also optional — captions and insights work without it.
